this one of two remaining bound chair frames created in the original production run, and the only one remaining with all of the original construction techniques. Victorian Ash is no longer available due to the restriction on the australian logging industry; these feet were created using leftover deadstock from the industry.
The Bound collection was originally developed to address concerns of environmental impact in furniture design, utilising only available materials and fully recyclable elements to create designer furniture that minimises this impact both in construction and at the end of the products life; this bound chair design incorporates paper, steel, timber, carnauba wax, cork and plant-based felt.
We are able to do custom colour and stain options.
