flux candlesticks are borne from my obsession with objects which feel good to hold. crafted from sand-cast aluminium, the undulating shape is reminiscent of squashed tube, playing with the juxtaposition of solid metal which looks and feels hand-formed. the curved aluminium form, scattered with small casting marks, throws reflections across its surface in changing patterns. the base is capped with a waxed jarrah disc which is held in place using a cork plug.
each candlestick comes with one large church candle.
