refraction is a series of four artworks depicting semi-organic objects integrated with the natural Australian landscape. the focus of this series is to encapsulate a feeling of serenity, or emotional softness, within the surrealist imagery. the objects depicted play with light, shape and colour to compliment the environments they inhabit rather than visually disrupt or threaten the natural spaces. these pieces act as a brief escape from the frenzy of our surrounding urban environment, a gentle window into a surreal and beautiful depiction of the Australian landscape and the symbiotic interplay of real and imagined objects.

all artworks are displayed in high-quality veneered oak frames and printed using archival Epson Ultrachrome® Pro inks and Epson Enhanced Matte 189g/m² paper. prints are displayed behind UltraVue® UV70 clear glass, which blocks up to 70% of UV light and removes glare and reflections.
